Kraft paper absorbent pads are laid inside the fruit carton to take up the condensation that forms during pre-cooling, cold storage and ocean freight. The pad has an absorbent core faced with breathable kraft paper, so water is drawn away from the fruit surface instead of running back onto it. It can be used as a top cover over the upper layer, as a base layer under the first layer, or both, and is made in the pad size that fits your carton.
